KARUNA (kuh-roo-na)

Compassionate action to alleviate suffering
Karuna is the Sanskrit name chosen and given to Stacy from the Nosara Yoga Institute at her 500 hour graduation in the Spring of 2009.

"It is my hope and intention that through massage therapy, Pranassage® and yoga instruction that I am doing the work of Karuna. I truly receive joy when relief, relaxation and calm are in the eyes of someone I have worked with." ~ Stacy Seebart
My clients over the years have included:

MASSAGE THERAPY:
Stacy approaches bodywork holistically, drawing from many modalities, always with the intention of helping to connect the body, mind, and spirit. She is a graduate of New England Academy of Therapeutic Sciences in Dublin, New Hampshire, and has worked as a massage therapist since 2001. Stacy is nationally certified in therapeutic massage and bodywork (NCTMB) and certified in Reiki I by the Usui System of Natural Healing. Over the past few years she has focused her continuing massage therapy study in Craniosacral Therapy and Somatic Emotional Release through the Upledger Institute in Florida. Stacy has spent over ten years working side by side with doctors of chiropractic, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and acupuncturists to ensure her clients receive the best care possible.

PRANASSAGE® / YOGA:
Stacy is a Senior Pranassage® Practitioner and Interdisciplinary & Prenatal Yoga Teacher. She is a professional level yoga educator graduate of the Nosara Yoga Institute in Nosara, Costa Rica. Stacy is also on faculty at NYI as a teaching assistant for the annual 100-hour Pranassage® Practitioner Training held annually in Costa Rica. As Stacy continues on with her yoga studies (it never ends!) she has taken extensive workshops with the focus on Prenatal Yoga and Yoga Therapy. She has earned the 500-RYT, E-RYT200, and RPYT designations from the Yoga Alliance.

Stacy has paved the way for Pranassage in the state of Minnesota. She has been offering Pranassage as a professional service since 2005. She has been given the honor of directing NYI's Pranassage Practitioner Training in its second US location- Minneapolis! Stacy is also the Director of Blooma's Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training. She has trained yoga teachers all over the world- including Norway, Canada and Costa Rica. Stacy lives in Minneapolis, and she aspires to continue to travel the world while teaching and learning the yogic path of life. During the winter you will find Stacy far south at the equator, going home to the Nosara Yoga Institute to work, train, teach and surf. Pura Vida!
